Details: The the rear end of the passenger plane caught fire while landing. at Marshad. The tail, starboard wing and part of the Tupolev's body broke off. The plane had left Abadan and was rerouted to Isfahan because of inclement weather in Mashhad. A few hours later, the plane lifted off again for Mashhad only to skid and crash on arrival. About 46 out of 157 passengers aboard were injured, none seriously.
